BAE Systems Names Ted Spilman Vice President of Business Development for National Security Solutions

SAN DIEGO -- BAE Systems has named Ted Spilman vice president of business development for its National Security Solutions business.
National Security Solutions serves the defense and intelligence communities with solutions for imagery exploitation and analysis, systems integration, targeting, data fusion and archiving, and mission planning.
Spilman joined BAE Systems in 2002 and served most recently as vice president and general manager for the Defense Systems business within National Security Solutions. He previously he was director of systems architecture for Cambridge Research Associates in McLean, Virginia.
Spilman also completed a career in the U.S. Navy, where as a captain he was program manager for the X-35 Concept Demonstrator program in his final assignment. Previous Navy tours included positions as program manager for Naval Mission Planning Systems and the Tomahawk Afloat Planning System. He is a graduate of the Naval Academy and has a master's degree in systems management from the University of Southern California and a master's degree in systems engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
