Tech Data U.S. Helps Resellers Draw Up Vertical Market Solutions with New Tablet PCs

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Tech Data Corporation (NASDAQ:TECD) today announced it will offer resellers a complete line of Motion Computing([R]) tablet PCs and accessories. Designed for efficient, powerful mobile computing, Motion([TM]) tablet PCs are ideally suited for a wide range of vertical markets, including education, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, public sector and retail.

Tech Data offers Motion's 12.1- and 8.4-inch tablet PCs which feature an ergonomic design and digitizer pen interface for handwritten input, ideal for environments where worker productivity can be enhanced by freeing users to be more mobile. Motion's 12.1-inch touch-screen slate PC is designed for repetitive data entry with minimal handwritten input, such as menu or button-driven applications. Tech Data also will distribute a wide array of Motion accessories including docking stations, external storage drives, shock- and water-resistant protective cases, power adapters and memory.
