CTS Corporation Presented with Frost & Sullivan 2006 Award for Product Quality Leadership
Business Wire, Feb 14, 2007
ELKHART, Ind. -- CTS Corporation (NYSE:CTS) today announced that Frost & Sullivan has chosen CTS Corporation's Electronics Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) business as a recipient of its 2006 Product Quality Leadership Award for the Defense & Aerospace Sectors.
CTS was selected for the award because of a proven track record of providing high quality products and services to OEMs in this specialized market and for its approach to supporting customers with a strong set of core quality and business processes. These processes include AS9100 and Mil-Spec certification, ITAR and NISP participation as well as specialist services such as wire bonding, clean room manufacturing and high specification test services. As a result, CTS has achieved 25% growth in this sector over the last two years, from both existing and new customers.
Frost & Sullivan commented, "CTS' proactive approach to product quality has increased productivity and boosted internal, as well as customer-facing, quality levels, enabling the company to benefit from repeat customer contracts."
Don Schroeder, President of CTS EMS, remarked on the award, "In this market, operational excellence is an imperative - our customers develop some of the most technically advanced aerospace and defense products in the world and they need an EMS partner with the scope, credibility and focus to meet their needs. I am delighted that CTS' efforts in this sector have been recognized as "world-class" by Frost & Sullivan and we are considered to be operating best practices at our sites. I welcome the award on behalf of all our employees."
The award was presented to CTS at the Annual Best Practices Awards Banquet held in Anaheim, California on February 7.
