Global Crown Capital Names Former SEC Commissioner Isaac C. Hunt, Jr. to Advisory Board

SAN FRANCISCO -- Global Crown Capital, LLC ("GCC"), a full-service boutique investment firm has named former SEC Commissioner, the Honorable Isaac C. Hunt, Jr., to the firm's advisory board. The advisory board plays a pivotal role in guiding the firm as it continues to offer valuable financial and strategic advice to its rapidly expanding clientele of high net worth investors and leading financial institutions around the globe.
* Mr. Hunt was nominated by President Bill Clinton and served as SEC Commissioner from 1996 to 2002.
* He is probably best known for his efforts in implementing Sarbanes-Oxley, for representing the SEC in international securities matters, and for being one of three SEC commissioners responsible for keeping the U.S. capital markets operating after September 11, 2001.
* Prior to being nominated to the Commission, Mr. Hunt was Dean and Professor of Law at the University of Akron School of Law and Dean of the Antioch School of Law in Washington, D.C.
* In addition, Mr. Hunt served during the Carter and Reagan administrations at the Department of the Army in the Office of the General Counsel as Principal Deputy General Counsel and as Acting General Counsel. As an associate at the law firm of Jones, Day, Beavis and Pogue, Mr. Hunt practiced in the fields of corporate and securities law, and international trade.
