Business Wire, Feb 15, 2007
HERNDON, Va. -- IceWEB, Inc. (OTCBB:IWEB), a leading provider of subscription-based Hosted Microsoft Exchange services, enterprise software and network security infrastructure products and services, announced that it has selected Allen & Caron, Inc. as its agency for investor relations and corporate communications.
IceWEB affords small- and medium-sized business all the benefits of large-scale enterprise software applications and security systems by hosting them on an IceWEB-managed, shared network infrastructure. The Company's IceWEB Online segment offers its web-based services, a la carte, at low-priced, monthly subscriptions, eliminating the need for its customers to pay large, up-front expenses to design and / or customize, install and maintain solutions once afforded only to "big business."
"IceWEB is in the midst of a financial turnaround due in part to both our recent acquisition of True North Federal Solutions and the successful execution of our new strategic plan. We have taken the necessary steps to reposition IceWEB, eliminating those products and divisions that were less profitable and/or were no longer part of our core competencies. As a result, and with the help of Allen & Caron, we are preparing a concise narrative as we step up our communications outreach to the investment community," commented John R. Signorello, Chairman and CEO of IceWEB Inc. "After a thorough review of several agencies, we chose Allen & Caron due to its solid reputation and history of increasing client profiles among institutional investors, which is an essential part of any plan to attract qualified investors."
"Small- and mid-sized businesses far outnumber large ones, not only in the US, but around the world," commented Joe Allen, Allen & Caron Chairman and CEO. "Using the Internet to tap this market, as an ASP IceWEB leverages the success and functionality of existing technologies by combining them with custom 'hosting control' systems in order to simplify the purchasing and management processes. As IceWEB executes its post-turnaround strategy, we feel that its prospects will be very interesting to investors as we tell its story to Wall Street."
The Company also serves the Federal Government, as it has done for the past several years, through its IceWEB Solutions Group, which specializes in providing network infrastructure security solutions. IceWEB possesses multiple GSA, GWAC, and BPA agreements with key agencies in order to fulfill the sale of its firewall, authentication, PKI, encryption, and traffic filtering products and services to these, and other government and civilian agencies, as well as private industry.
