Michigan State University Brings SANS Computer Security Training to Lansing

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State University's Academic Computing and Network Services department will host SANS Security Essentials training in Lansing, Michigan, the week of April 9 through April 14, 2007. Security 401: SANS Security Essentials Bootcamp Style is a six-day, instructor-led course covering key topics in security for information technology.
More and more organizations are assigning operational responsibility to their system administration/technical personnel, holding these teams accountable for security breaches. This underscores the need for qualified IT professionals to be trained across all disciplines - audit, legal, management, operations, and security. SANS provides education in essential best practices and hands-on skills.
