Hay Group Expands Southeast Employee Rewards and Performance Management Capabilities

PHILADELPHIA -- Mitch Barnes has joined Hay Group's Charlotte, North Carolina office to assist Southeast clients with employee pay strategy, variable pay plan design, and performance management.

Barnes joins Hay Group from Mercer Human Resource Consulting, where he spent nearly eight years designing compensation systems in manufacturing, utilities, transportation, communications, marketing, professional services, and financial services. He also brings fifteen years of corporate human resources and compensation experience at Wachovia Corporation and First Union Corporation.
Barnes received a B.S. in Business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. in Finance and Operations from the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University. He is a certified compensation professional via World at Work.
