HighJump Software Announces Standard Integration to Microsoft Dynamics AX
Business Wire, Feb 20, 2007
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- HighJump Software, a 3M company, a global provider of adaptable supply chain execution solutions, today announced the release of comprehensive, out-of-the-box integration between HighJump Supply Chain Advantage suite and Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0, Microsoft's enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. The integration will enable HighJump Software clients to speed implementation times. This project represents the latest effort in HighJump Software's long-standing commitment to Microsoft technologies. Columbus IT, a global technology consulting company specializing in Microsoft Business Solutions, was key to development efforts.
HighJump Software clients will leverage this robust integration to achieve real-time, seamless information exchange between the two systems. This is critical to today's businesses, which must unify business processes across the warehouse and back office operations. The comprehensive set of standard transactions includes adjustments, customer returns, purchase order processing, order fulfillment, quality holds and cycle counting.
"An increasing number of our clients are using Microsoft Dynamics AX, and we needed to support integration to help ensure key supply chain data is transferred throughout their businesses quickly and accurately," said Joel Levinson, president, HighJump Software. "We're proud to have worked side-by-side with both Microsoft and Columbus IT during the development process and believe our clients will be very happy with the results."
"We are pleased at HighJump Software's continued commitment to the Microsoft technology stack, and its leadership in the delivery of integrated supply chain execution applications with Dynamics AX 4.0," said Craig McCollum, vice president of sales strategy for Microsoft Business Solutions at Microsoft. "Microsoft Dynamics AX is ideal for fast-growing companies across industries such as food and beverage, retail and consumer packaged goods, areas where the combined Microsoft, Columbus IT and HighJump Software offering should be in high demand."
"This integration enables us to provide our Microsoft Dynamics AX clients a strong option for best-of-breed warehouse management that fits within their existing technology structures," said Michael Faulks, vice president sales and marketing, Columbus IT. "We believe the combination of HighJump Software and Microsoft Dynamics AX will provide us a leading alternative for our clients. We look forward to working with HighJump Software to pursue expanded business development opportunities based on the integration of these solutions."
