Integrated Online Video, Voice and Data Tools Will Reduce Meeting Travel and Deliver Learning and Training Programs to Distant Communities

NANUET, N.Y. -- VEMICS, INC. (VMCI.PK), a leading provider of hosted, real-time collaboration, learning and productivity solutions, announced today its real-time collaboration tools will be used in Pennsylvania to provide online meeting, teaching and training to teachers, administrators and students around the state. Vemics LiveAccess will also be used to provide special training to family members who have children with special needs. Additionally, the product will be used to create an online communications solution to support the state's emergency readiness.

With the installation of Vemics LiveAccess[TM], the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the Pennsylvania Association of Intermediate Units and the Pennsylvania Training the Technical Assistance Network will be able to further improve the quality of education by bringing top teachers to students who otherwise would not have access to these teachers due to personnel shortages or distances. The Intermediate Unit directors will be able to reduce travel across the approximately 45,000 square mile state to Harrisburg for executive meetings through the use of the real-time online video conferencing program. The technology is also expected to be utilized to help connect teacher representatives and principals for participation in virtual state board meetings.

"The benefits of LiveAccess are being discovered by a growing number of organizations, as Pennsylvania's planned implementation demonstrations," said Vemics CEO Fred Zolla. "We are pleased to see our platform continue to aid education and business development and bring educational services to those who traditionally cannot receive them."
