Session Will Focus on Mitigating New Risks Associated with Database Communication Protocol Vulnerabilities

WHO:    Amichai Shulman, CTO and Co-Founder, Imperva(TM). Mr. Shulman
        is also head of the Application Defense Center (ADC),
        Imperva's internationally recognized research organization
        which focuses on security and compliance.

WHAT:   Mr. Shulman will present a session entitled Danger From Below:
        The Untold Tale of Database Communication Protocol
        Vulnerabilities. He will discuss:

        - Proprietary communication protocols created by database
        vendors to convey data and commands between database client
        software and database servers
        - How vulnerabilities in these protocols create a dangerous
        new attack vector
        - ADC research and findings on these protocol vulnerabilities

        Finally, Mr. Shulman will demonstrate examples of protocol
        level attacks and describe mitigation techniques for
        protecting databases against these types of vulnerabilities.
