The Progressive Corporation Announces Investor Relations Conference Call

MAYFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio -- As previously announced, The Progressive Corporation will host a one-hour conference call on Friday, March 2, 2007, beginning at 9:30 a.m. eastern time. The Company's 2006 Annual Report on Form 10-K will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on February 28, 2007. In addition, on the same date, the Company's 2006 Shareholders' Report, including the Letter to Shareholders written by the Company's President and CEO Glenn Renwick, will be available on the Company's Web site at www.progressive.com/annualreport . Under the Company's conference call format, the Company will not make detailed comments in addition to these published reports, but management will respond to questions at that time.
Simultaneous broadcast of the conference call will be provided by phone and online.
