Former IBM Executive Joins Axentis Board of Directors

Lorraine Fenton to Provide Strategic Input Regarding the Continued Development and Delivery of Axentis' Leading Governance, Risk and Compliance Solution
CLEVELAND -- Axentis, the leading provider of on-demand governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management solutions, today announced the addition of Lorraine Fenton to its board of directors. Fenton has more than thirty years of general management experience in the areas of software application, operating systems development and information systems businesses, working for companies such as IBM and System Software Associates (SSA). As a member of the board, Fenton will offer expert guidance to help Axentis maintain its position as the industry's technology and business leader.

Fenton spent more than thirty years at IBM, most recently serving as vice president of information technology for IBM North America. Other positions held over this period include chief information officer for North America Sales and Services, where she was responsible for the design, development and delivery of information technology solutions to 45,000 end-users throughout the U.S., and vice president of quality and development operations, where she led the reengineering initiatives for all software product development laboratories for IBM worldwide. Fenton currently works as an independent information technology consultant to clients such as JP Morgan. Prior to this venture, she served as vice president of research and development at SSA. In this position she managed development, support and IT operations, significantly improving both client satisfaction and product quality.
