"Gartner for Professional Services" Supports Services Firms in Fulfilling Their Engagements by Leveraging Gartner's Entire Research Catalog
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Gartner announced today the release of its new offering within its Gartner for Business Leaders product suite called "Gartner for Professional Services." This offering is designed to support professional services firms in marketing and engagement fulfillment activities. It introduces a payment model based on usage, which aligns more appropriately to how these firms value information.
Gartner for Professional Services delivers best-in-class IT industry research to help professional services firms in all phases of the consulting cycle: from pre-sales and proposal development, to project execution and the building of post-engagement relationships. Product features include:
* Delivers "on demand" access to Gartner's full research library -- including Core Research, Gartner Dataquest and Industry Advisory Services
* Enables firms to track which client engagements Gartner research content is being used for, and thus to "charge back" clients for exactly what research the consultants leveraged to fulfill that specific engagement
"Professional services firms are under pressure to help their clients realize greater returns from their investments in third-party research," said Ken Davis, senior vice president of Gartner's High Tech & Telecom Programs. "With this offering, consultants and practitioners can use Gartner content to become educated, to support proposal development, and to ultimately deliver on their engagements. Our unique approach is based on the strength of Gartner research and analyst expertise, and we deliver it in a way that aligns with their business goals."
Gartner for Professional Services is available only to the consultants or practitioners that are part of professional services organizations. This offering allows services firms to help their clients achieve their business objectives with innovative applications of technology. They are equipped to address issues such as how their client can:
* Mobilize IT as a key enabler of business strategy and keep current with IT industry markets, trends and predictions
* Analyze IT investments in the context of business drivers, technology issues and management risks
* Improve IT management and service provider relationships
* Monitor current and emerging vendors in the IT products and services market that are relevant to their business
