San Francisco and Oakland Mayors to Speak on the Bay Area's Economic Outlook at the January 17 San Francisco Business Times and Grubb & Ellis Annual Forum

SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom and Oakland Mayor Ron Dellums will offer their outlooks for their respective cities in a lively discussion at the San Francisco Business Times and Grubb & Ellis "Mayors' Economic Forecast Forum" on Wednesday, January 17, 2006, at the Hilton San Francisco.
The annual breakfast forum is an opportunity for these two leaders to come together to discuss their visions for their cities.
Oakland is entering an era of transition as Mayor Dellums takes the helm.
San Francisco's Mayor Newsom faces his own set of challenges as he nears the end of his first term.
"This annual forum will draw more than 1,000 people from the Bay Area business community," said Mary Huss, publisher of the San Francisco Business Times. "With Oakland and San Francisco as the two major cities at the heart of our region, the breakfast forum will offer a rare opportunity to hear the collective views and visions of the dynamic mayors whose leadership has an enormous impact on the economic vitality of the entire Bay Area."
The program will include a real estate forecast from Daniel Cressman, executive vice president and managing director of Grubb & Ellis Co.
Richard Weiss, executive vice president and chief investment officer at City National Asset Management, will provide his economic outlook as well.

The breakfast forum will be held from 7:45 to 10 a.m. at the Hilton San Francisco at 333 O'Farrell St. in San Francisco.
Registration begins at 7:15 a.m.
