MIVA Media Signs Pay-Per-Click Contract with Johnston Press Plc

Deal Spans over 300 Websites Including The Scotsman
LONDON -- MIVA Media, a leading Internet advertising network and a division of MIVA, Inc (NASDAQ:MIVA) has today announced the signing of a search and content Pay-Per-Click contract with the U.K.'s second largest local newspaper publisher, Johnston Press Plc.
The deal will see MIVA display targeted Pay-Per-Click Ads across a network of over 300 national, regional and classified websites from across the Johnston Press portfolio.
Among the sites included in the deal is The Scotsman (www.scotsman.com) which generates over 17 million page impressions a month.(a) MIVA will be providing search driven Pay-Per-Click Ads throughout The Scotsman site in a range of custom designed implementations including banners, messaging plus units (MPUs) and super skyscrapers.
Under the terms of the new deal, MIVA will also be delivering both search and content driven Pay-Per-Click Ads across over 275 regional Johnston Press websites; and targeted content-driven Pay-Per-Click Ads across 16 classified websites including www.jobstoday.co.uk, www.motorstoday.co.uk and www.propertytoday.co.uk.
The Pay-Per-Click implementations will be designed by MIVA's in-house team to suit the style of the individual Johnston Press properties.

Implementations across the Johnston Press portfolio are likely to be completed by the end of January.
