Google is Not Alone in New Hiring Methods, Kiosite is at Forefront of Hiring Trend

Business Wire, Jan 16, 2007

ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis-based Kiosite and its flagship HireTrue platform provide an innovative suite of services to help automate the hiring process. HireTrue is particularly valuable by integrating individual assessments of behavioral strength and weakness, providing companies a glimpse into a candidate's personality and helping to provide clients a more complete picture.

While Fortune 500 companies, such as Google, have the means and resources to create and implement complicated and cutting-edge tests in-house to help with hiring decisions, smaller companies are benefiting from similar technology through Kiosite's HireTrue platform.

Similar to Google's new hiring philosophy, Kiosite's HireTrue Platform is built upon the premise that a company with improved insight into its applicants' personalities will undoubtedly make more informed hiring decisions--improving productivity, client and guest service, and reducing forced turnover in the long run.

"Companies are only now beginning to really understand that critical hiring decisions can not accurately be based on academic credentials or even work experience alone," said Michael Novack, Chief Executive Officer of Kiosite. "An individual's personality can be a much stronger indication of how that person will fit in and perform in a given organizational culture or specific position. Kiosite is excited to be on the forefront of what we expect will be a major turn in hiring trends for 2007."

According to the article "Google Answer to Filling Jobs Is an Algorithm" in the Jan. 3, 2007, New York Times, "Google is certainly not alone in the search for quantitative ways to find good employees ... And the use of biographical surveys similar to Google's new system is on the rise ... Such tools, however, have mainly been the trademark of large corporations recruiting armies of similar workers."
