Lucid8 Joins EMC Velocity Technology and ISV Program
Business Wire, Jan 17, 2007
BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Lucid8 LLC, the company that optimizes space, reliability, efficiency, and recoverability for Microsoft Exchange Server databases, today announced it has joined the EMC Velocity2 Technology and ISV Program to develop a comprehensive e-mail performance solution that integrates its GOexchange product with EMC EmailXtender and EMC Archive Services for Email software. The new combined solution will provide companies with an end-to-end offering that delivers optimal performance of both e-mail and compliance e-discovery for Microsoft Exchange environments.
Enterprise companies are increasingly interested in reclaiming the space vacated by the archiving process, and need to be able to check and correct errors, indexes and address related issues to ensure the ongoing health and optimization of the Exchange Server databases.
EMC EmailXtender and EMC Archive Services for Email can archive e-mail messages to improve operational performance of e-mail systems and provide invaluable enterprise search and e-discovery compliance capabilities. Deploying GOexchange before EMC's e-mail archiving products ensures the Exchange Server databases are healthy and optimized. Exchange Server performance and stability is increased while also enhancing the ease and effectiveness of the EMC e-mail archiving implementation. Post e-mail archive deployment, GOexchange automatically delivers the archive solutions with more efficient and optimized databases, and initial reduction in size up to 90 percent or more. Utilizing GOexchange in conjunction with EMC's e-mail archiving solutions thereafter provides long term, disaster prevention, optimization and increased effectiveness of the archiving process.
"EMC is pleased that Lucid8 has joined the EMC Velocity Technology and ISV Program to demonstrate its commitment to excellence in enterprise content management application design for its GOexchange and DigiVault products," said Barry Ruditsky, Vice President of Business Development, Content Management & Archiving, EMC. "We look forward to working with Lucid8 to ensure that our mutual customers have the highest level of support possible for their information protection initiatives."
"Joining the EMC Velocity2 Technology and ISV Program enables Lucid8 to provide best-of-breed solutions to customers looking for the most comprehensive archiving solutions available on the market," said Troy Werelius, CEO of Lucid8. "The benefits provided through this partner program will not only allow us to continue to enhance the offerings, but provide EMC with a more comprehensive solution for its customers."
