Eon® Revolutionizes Outdoor Living Space with New Ultra Decking, Railing, and Cladding
Business Wire, Jan 23, 2007
TORONTO -- Eon([R]) gives outdoor living a makeover with its new line of decking (Eon Ultra), Railing (Traditional and Ultra), and Cladding, Hangers and Trim accessories. As a leading brand of low maintenance decking, railing, fencing, and spa products, Eon helps homeowners create their dream outdoor living space, allowing friends and family to spend more time together surrounded by the rich beauty and feel of natural wood.
"Our new Eon offerings complement each other to create the ultimate low-maintenance outdoor space," said Cliff Hatch, Director of Marketing, Eon and CPI Plastics Group Ltd. "When combined, the new decking, railing, cladding and trim create a beautifully and professionally finished wood-like appearance. Additionally, Eon is still resilient to the harshest elements and resists fading, cracking, splitting and rotting, and can be cleaned with water from a garden hose. And since Eon isn't a composite material, it completely resists mold and mildew."
Eon Ultra Decking
The new decking line boasts a more defined natural wood grain-like embossing and is available in three lengths, 12', 16', and 20'. Eon Ultra is virtually resistant to stains, insects, snow, wet weather and mold. Like all Eon offerings, Eon Ultra never requires staining or painting which is needed to keep the look of natural wood.

-- New Ultra Clips ensure even spacing, easier installation

New Eon Railing Lines
The new railing lines are available in the Eon Traditional and Eon Ultra metal baluster styles and offer both improved form and function. All three available styles match the decking lines and feature embossed handrails for a natural look and internal metal channels for superior strength. The rails are easy to assemble and include a hidden fastener system for a flawless finish. All rails are pre-notched rails to ensure even baluster spacing every time - no spacers required. Additionally, Eon offers several upgraded cap options: copper, gunmetal and solar. Key benefits:
