Renowned Company Selects Tridion to Easily and Quickly localize Content for its Customers
NEW YORK & PARIS -- Tridion, a leading global provider of web content management (WCM) software solutions, today announced that Sodexho Alliance, the leading global provider of Food and Facilities Management services, has selected the Tridion Web Content Management Suite to be the driving force behind the launch of its estimated 50 new global websites as part of the company's initiative to unify its branding and messaging. With the help of Tridion's enterprise class and intuitive product suite as well as the software's multi-lingual and multi-site capabilities, Sodexho Alliance has already launched updated sites in Belgium, France and UK sites in the accelerated time of three months. Sites are accessible via the Sodexho Alliance portal page www.sodexho.com.
"As a member of the Global 1000, a significant challenge for us is consistently representing our brand internationally across numerous web sites and through multiple languages," said Gabriele Maltinti, the Group e-Communications Director of Sodexho Alliance. "Tridion's unique BluePrint Management capability will allow us to apply a cohesive brand across all of our websites by creating content templates that we can reuse and localize according to the local needs of our 76 country audiences."
Sodexho Alliance approached Tridion with an aggressive timeline of three months to launch the project's first websites. The company therefore required a WCM tool that could handle the needs of a large, global organization but could also be easily and quickly implemented by both the technical and non-technical corporate communications teams. Sodexho Alliance was impressed with Tridion's breadth of functionality and the software's ability to enable the two teams to intuitively launch multiple country websites with multiple languages in a very short period of time.
The process to select Tridion was a collaboration between Sodexho Alliance's US-based Information Technology team and the France-based Corporate Communications department, who were determined to find a product suite that would help their brand become not only synonymous with food services, but as a complete provider of management services for corporate, government, educational and social organizations. Both teams were particularly impressed with the ability Tridion gives those responsible for editing content to do so without the typical technical challenges of other tools and without the risk of diluting the Sodexho Alliance brand.
"Sodexho Alliance's selection of Tridion reinforces the fact that our WCM suite is the ideal choice for the large, global enterprise looking to implement a Web Globalization initiative," said Erik Aeyelts Averink, Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, Tridion. "We look forward to helping other legendary organizations market to their diverse Global audiences while maintaining brand unity."
