Industry Veteran Jim Bozzini Joins Workday as Vice President, Customer Operations

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Workday[TM], Inc., the first in a new generation of on-demand ERP solutions, today announced the appointment of Jim Bozzini to the newly-created role of Vice President, Customer Operations. In this role, Jim will lead Workday's customer operations with responsibility for all customer services, hosting operations and alliances.

Jim is best known for his contributions at PeopleSoft, where he held several senior management positions. Shortly after beginning his career at PeopleSoft, he was chosen to establish and lead PeopleSoft's European Operations. Upon returning from Europe, Jim created a professional services organization which he grew to $500M in revenue while growing the education services business to $150M. In 1999, Jim was the Senior Vice President of Operations, with responsibility for about half of total company revenue, and was one of four executives making up the Office of the President.
Prior to joining Workday, Jim was the Chief Operating Officer at Evolve Software, with responsibility for sales, marketing, product development and customer services. Under Jim's leadership, Evolve dramatically increased sales, leading to a successful IPO. Earlier in his career, Jim worked on strategic planning and large scale system integration engagements at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
