FleetCor Selects Proginet to Secure Key Business Data
Business Wire, Jan 24, 2007
GARDEN CITY, N.Y. -- Proginet Corporation [OTCBB: PRGF], developer of enterprise security software, today announced a new software license agreement with FleetCor, a leading provider of fleet card management and transaction processing services. Under the terms of the agreement, FleetCor will use Proginet's CyberFusion Integration Suite (CFI)(TM) to secure key information at the core of the company's business process.
FleetCor provides commercial fuel purchasing programs to more than three million users worldwide, processing transaction data for a variety of automotive services including the sale of four billion gallons of vehicle fuel annually. The company operates a number of successful brands globally, including Fuelman, KeyFuels, FleetNet, and Mannatec.
"FleetCor is an important new customer for Proginet," stated Jack Gazzola, Proginet's Vice President of Sales. "The company has been growing at an annual growth rate of 40% and has recently completed several major acquisitions. Their selection of CFI is part of an important initiative to consolidate all file transfer processes enterprise wide, and to maximize information security. We anticipate this relationship growing significantly over the next several years."
"Proginet was originally recommended to FleetCor by one of our key business partners," said Waddaah Keirbeck, FleetCor's Vice President of Enterprise Infrastructure and Security. "That was for a specific project. But when we looked at CFI, we quickly recognized that it could solve many of our enterprise file transfer challenges. Eliminating FTP and associated security risk is a key corporate objective for FleetCor; CFI will help tremendously in this regard. Proginet has also proven to be an excellent partner in helping us implement the solution quickly and roll it out to users across platforms."
Proginet cites FleetCor as the latest evidence of its expanding success in the financial services sector, where organizations use the company's software to secure and protect sensitive business data. Stringent compliance mandates and an unprecedented surge in global data compromises are the principal catalysts for this success.
