IRVINE, Calif. -- Toshiba's Digital Products Division, a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced the latest additions to its award-winning Satellite([R]) P105 gaming notebook series with the Satellite P105-S9337 and the Satellite P105-S9339 featuring Windows Vista([TM]) Home Premium and Windows Vista([TM]) Ultimate respectively.
Microsoft's newest operating system provides gamers with the advanced features and tools necessary to experience astounding graphics and enhanced game-play on a notebook: technologies like Windows Aero([TM]) for advanced animations and visual feedback for precision and realism and a new Game Explorer in the Start menu that displays thumbnails of your favorite games in addition to background information, such as when last played, genre and ratings.
Offering stunning gaming graphics on a 17-inch diagonal widescreen TruBrite([R]) display in a 7.1-pound1, 1.41-inch slim notebook chassis, the Satellite P105 gaming notebooks combine the processing power of the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor2 T7200 (2.00GHz, 4MB L2, 667MHz FSB) with the rendering prowess of the NVIDIA([R])GeForce([R])Go 7900 GS graphics card with 256MB of graphics3 memory.
The combination of these premium computing technologies creates an unsurpassed mobile gaming experience with stunning visuals and smooth frame rate. Additionally, each system incorporates Windows Vista for even greater functionality in terms of gaming and multimedia.

The new Satellite P105 notebooks feature a DVI-D output port to allow users to connect to an HDTV, a S/P DIF output port for connecting to 5.1 surround sound stereo, and Bluetooth([R]) v.2.0 EDR technology to connect with Bluetooth devices such as wireless gaming controls and other accessories. Additional features include:
* 2048MB DDR2 SDRAM dual-channel memory4 for enhanced performance of games and music, picture and video multimedia files
* 200GB serial-ATA hard drive5 for generous file storage
* built-in harman/kardon([R]) stereo speakers for a rich audio experience
* TruBrite([R]) technology from Toshiba for a crisp, clear display
* 5-in-1 bridge media adapter for easy file sharing and downloads
* DVD SuperMulti Double Layer drive that reads and writes in up to 11 formats that can nearly double a recordable DVD's storage capacity for photo, music and video files in either DVD R or DVD-R double layer formats
* customizable Dual Mode touch pad that can provide one-tap short cuts to launch e-mail, an Internet browser and other selected programs
* fingerprint reader for one-touch secure access management
Both Satellite P105 models feature Toshiba's signature Onyx Blue Metallic high-gloss lid and are available at major consumer electronics and computer stores nationwide. The estimated single unit price (ESUP) for the Satellite P105-S9337 is $1,999.996 and $2,099.996 for the Satellite P105-S9339.
The Satellite P105 notebooks come with a standard one-year limited warranty7 that includes carry-in support at authorized service providers throughout the country, or the customer may use any of the more than 3,000 UPS Stores for packaging and delivery of the product to a centralized depot for prompt service turnaround. Customers can also choose to upgrade the notebook's service plans, including up to four years of extended service plans.
All new Toshiba notebooks are RoHS-compatible8, restricting the use of lead, mercury and certain other hazardous substances.
