Infotec's 'Africam' Catches World's First Ever Safari Lion Kill in the Wild

Business Wire, Jan 9, 2007

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Infotec Business Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:IFTC) has achieved another 'world-first.' Last week the world-famous 'Africam' caught what is considered to be the first-ever live-kill of an animal in the wild - streamed through the Internet. On Christmas Morning six lions were seen live via the Internet taking down a large female buffalo in stunning detail. Experts who watched the Africam clips say it took 3 male lions and 3 female lions to complete the hunt and make online streaming history in the animal kingdom!

Being captured live on Africam, these lions have been watched by millions for over 8 months. The pride of lions has grown in size over the last two months as well, with two other males being accepted into the group. Biology students, and animal lovers alike have become fascinated with this phenomenon as the Africam truly captures the beauty of these animals in the wild. Conservationists from the Nkorho gaming reserve have confirmed that this marks the third Christmas in a row that the lions have made a kill, and to capture that moment on camera was truly beating the odds. Wavelit.com is urging animal lovers, and experts to keep tuned in, as the camera runs 24 hours a day.

Viewers can see a host of other animals roaming as well, from Vultures to Zebras to Springboks drinking along the watering hole. With over 40 Million hits last month, the Africam is set to exceed the record numbers originally set by the world-famous 'Eagle-Cam" in 2006. Wavelit.com is seeing more than just web traffic; they're seeing the potential for huge profits as well. With the newly introduced SMS, the company can alert Africam viewers (who have a free Wavelit account) of some of the amazing things happening in the wild. By opting in to receive SMS, wavelit.com is able to compile valuable user demographics for future advertisers on the site.

"We're pioneering some new ground here by streaming the animals in the wild. The majestic beauty of these animals is rarely seen by the general public. Now we're able to share it with everyone, without harming these animals. The swell of visitors to the site obviously means these animals have tapped a global nerve. I think everyone should spend 5 minutes on the Africam to see what it's all about!" said CEO Arthur Griffiths.
