(OTCBB:MIVT) (FWB:MIV), a leading developer of next-generation biocompatible coatings and advanced drug delivery systems for cardiovascular stents and other implantable medical devices, will host a live conference call with a simultaneous webcast, today at 11 am Eastern to update investors and discuss corporate plans for the remainder of 2007.

During the conference call, Dr. Mark Landy, President of MIVT, will also discuss a recent private placement with various institutional investors for a total of $12.55 million. The Company will use these funds to further their strategic plan to become a world leader in the $6 billion plus interventional cardiology market.
