DAVENPORT, Iowa -- The Kaplan University/Newsweek MBA program has made segments of its Global Leaders Series available online for the first time, featuring Jack Stahl, who served as President of The Coca-Cola Company and CEO of Revlon before the age of 50. Stahl, who recently published Lessons in Leadership (Kaplan Publishing, 2008), shares his insights with online MBA students about successful leadership, creating extraordinary global organizations and leveraging brands effectively. Snippets of the interview are available at www.kaplannewsweek.com.

Other video segments in the series feature noteworthy Newsweek luminaries, Kaplan University faculty experts and global industry executives, who share their analysis of current events in the business world with students in the Kaplan University/Newsweek MBA program.

The hour-long videotaped interviews are woven into the online MBA courses. Other Global Leader lectures feature Steven Levy, Newsweek Technology Specialist, who discussed the cultural challenges facing Sony's first non-Japanese CEO, and Keith Naughton, Newsweek Midwest Bureau Chief, who provided analysis of the current state of the auto industry and insight about Ford's ongoing turnaround.

Kaplan University, a leading online institution of higher learning, and Newsweek, Inc., the award-winning news magazine, joined forces in 2006 to create the innovative Kaplan University/Newsweek MBA. The program combines Kaplan's rigorous MBA training with the journalistic resources of Newsweek magazine to provide students with an education that uses breaking business news to illuminate the issues and theories that are part of traditional M.B.A. course work. The program has an international focus and offers two degree specializations: international business and international health care management.
