Nuvio Automates SunRocket Gizmo Conversion Process and Number Porting
Business Wire, July 19, 2007
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Nuvio Corporation, a leading provider of VoIP solutions, today announced that it completely automated the conversion process of former SunRocket customers. Additionally, Nuvio has ported phone numbers of former SunRocket customers. Unlike with other providers, Nuvio is able to reprovision a SunRocket gizmo for use on Nuvio's network.
"We have automated the provisioning process to such a degree that a former SunRocket customer can be up and running with Nuvio in under 10 minutes," commented Joe Woodbury, Director of Marketing. "You can use your current gizmo and be active almost immediately with Nuvio."
Nuvio also announces that it is currently porting phone numbers of former SunRocket customers to its network, ensuring continuity of service for these customers. SunRocket numbers will be largely portable to Nuvio if done quickly. Nuvio has secured rapid responses from its underlying carriers to assist in this transition.
Nuvio Corporation has rolled out its "Safe Landing" rate plan for former SunRocket customers. For $199.95 per year, or $24.95 per month, these customers can transition to Nuvio and feel comfortable dealing with a financially solid company. "Many of the special offers being touted by competitors are below actual costs. We caution customers looking for the cheapest plan or wanting to sign up with unknown providers," stated Mr. Woodbury. "Buying a yearly service for $99.99 a year is an invitation for disaster and further loss of service. We don't want customers to have to deal with another bad experience."
