Alaska Communications Systems Announces TelAlaska as ACS Wireless Agent and Grand Opening of Retail Outlet in Seward

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc. ("ACS") (NASDAQ:ALSK) is proud to announce TelAlaska as the latest ACS wireless agent and the grand opening of a new retail outlet in Seward on Thursday, July 26th, within the TelAlaska office, located at 335 4th Avenue.
"Our new store provides our customers with the opportunity to test our state-of-the-art wireless phones and accessories first hand," said Bill Bishop, director of retail services at ACS. "Along with our new retail agent, TelAlaska, ACS is committed to meeting the needs of residents and businesses in Seward and throughout the Kenai Peninsula."

The official ACS retail outlet Grand Opening in Seward begins Thursday, July 26th and runs through Wednesday, August 1st. Store hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. To celebrate the store's opening, a selection of free phones will be available to new ACS customers and to those converting to ACS' enhanced CDMA wireless network. Visitors may also enter a drawing to win a free Motorola KRZR.
