Panasonic Appoints Jan Ruderman to Lead Government Sales of Toughbook Mobile Computing Solutions

Long-term Panasonic executive becomes senior director responsible for delivering solutions for military, federal, state and local government, public safety and homeland security applications

SECAUCUS, N.J. -- Panasonic Computer Solutions Company, manufacturer of durable, reliable Panasonic[R] Toughbook[R] mobile computers, today announced that it has consolidated all government, military, public safety and homeland security sales under Jan Ruderman, who has been appointed Senior Director, Government Sector effective immediately.

Ruderman has nearly 20 years of experience in government technology sales including 12 years with Panasonic. For the past eight years, Ruderman has led the public safety and state and local government teams at Panasonic, contributing to significant revenue growth. Prior to joining Panasonic, Ruderman was with Iomega Corporation.

In his new role, Ruderman will be tasked with the continued support of Panasonic's resellers, VARs, systems integrators and solutions partners as they address the growing need for mobile and wireless computing within all branches of the military and government.
