Yes To Carrots Products Now Available Exclusively at Walgreens Stores
Business Wire, July 26, 2007
LOS ANGELES -- Yes To Carrots has announced that Walgreens will expand its exclusive selection of Yes To Carrots high quality skin and hair care products.
Yes To Carrots' family of face, body and hair care products all contain a unique formula of Beta-carotene, a non toxic form of Vitamin A, known for its anti-aging and anti-oxidant properties, as well as Dead Sea minerals and mud known for healing properties and stabilization of the metabolism.
In all the Yes To Carrots products, the Beta-carotene is derived from healthy, natural ingredients such as carrots and other organic "orange group" fruits and vegetables and blended with mud and minerals from the actual Dead Sea, to provide a paraben-free formula geared to give a natural vibrant glow to skin and hair.
"We're excited about being the exclusive retailer carrying the Yes To Carrots line," said Michelle Hobson, Walgreens manager of strategic business development for beauty. "We are always searching for new products our customers will love - and I think Yes To Carrots will be a big hit. I'm a fan of the products not only because they work, they're made with organic ingredients and they smell great, but the brand's marketing philosophies are as fun and fresh as the products themselves. We look forward to a great partnership."
"It's an honor for us to be featured so prominently on the shelves of Walgreens' legendary stores," said Ido Leffler, CEO and 'Chief Carrot Lover' at Yes To Carrots. "We have been receiving an overwhelming level of enthusiasm for our products around the world -- and what better way to get into the hands of American retail customers for the first time than via Walgreens - the largest drug store chain in the country and an organization that is obviously committed to bringing its customers the most innovative and exciting new brands!"
Walgreens began featuring select items from the Yes To Carrots line earlier this summer, and will now support the brand nationwide beginning August 1st. The complete line of 16 Yes To Carrots products, including six face care products, seven body care products and three hair care products, will be available at select Walgreens stores and on Walgreens.com. Products such as "C You in the Morning" Moisturizing Day Cream, "C a Softer You" Hand and Elbow Moisturizing Cream, "C Loves Your Hair" Pampering Carrot Juice Shampoo and "C the Difference" Exfoliating Smoothing Mask have seen success overseas and online and are now making their US retail debuts.
Dead Sea mud has world renowned detoxifying properties which, when combined with Yes To Carrots' proprietary blend of 26 minerals, cleanse, detoxify and mineralize the skin naturally.
Walgreens is the nation's largest drugstore chain with fiscal 2006 sales of $47.4 billion. The company operates 5,807 stores in 48 states and Puerto Rico.
Yes To Carrots products will be available at Walgreens starting this month.
