Avago Technologies Announces Continuation of Manufacturing Outsourcing Program

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Avago Technologies, a leading supplier of analog interface components for communications, industrial and consumer applications, today announced the continuation of its manufacturing outsourcing program and the reduction of its workforce in Southeast Asia by approximately 600 employees. Accordingly, the Company expects to record a cash charge of approximately $6 million to $8 million during its third fiscal quarter, ending July 31, 2007.
