Award-Winning Accounting Firm Clark Nuber Hires DialPro Northwest to Design and Install Speech Attendant System for Voice-Enabled Automatic Call Routing

Business Wire,  July 9, 2007

SEATTLE -- DialPro Northwest, a leading provider of enterprise voice messaging and unified communications systems, today announced that it has been awarded a contract by accounting firm Clark Nuber for a voice-enabled telephone attendant system to automatically route and handle calls corporate wide.

Under the contract, DialPro has designed and installed a natural speech-enabled attendant system for Clark Nuber, an award-winning public accounting firm located in Bellevue, Wash., that allows callers to connect with the party they are trying to reach simply by saying the name of the person or department. Also known as a speech attendant, the system reduces call transfer and hold times by eliminating the need for the caller to listen to a menu of options or use a dial by name phone directory.

"The Speech Recognition System from DialPro has lowered costs, increased client service and employee productivity, and most amazingly keeps our employees physically safer when using the system from their hands-free cell phones while driving," said Peter J. Henley, IT Director for Clark Number. "When is the last time an IT initiative increased employee safety?"

"We're pleased that Clark Nuber hired DialPro for this project," said Dennis R. Tyler, president and CEO of DialPro Northwest. "With the advances in speech recognition technology, employees can now dial one number from outside the office, speak an employee's name and be connected immediately, eliminating the need to be transferred by a receptionist or to keep and update distribution lists. Moreover, this increases employee safety by providing hands-free dialing while driving."
