Coffeyville Resources Provides FEMA Individual Assistance Filing for Kansas and Oklahoma Residents

COFFEYVILLE, Kan. -- Starting today, staff at the Coffeyville Resources claims office will be assisting victims of the recent record-setting flooding with online filing for FEMA individual assistance. Computer terminals have been provided for residents at the claims office located at 900 Hall St. in Coffeyville.
Kansas and Oklahoma flood victims are invited to apply for FEMA assistance between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Volunteers will be on hand to help residents with answers to questions and technical assistance in filling out their applications.
The staff at the claims office will also assist local residents file claims related to recent flooding and an oil overflow at its local refinery. The office hours for oil-related claims assistance are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Residents with oil-related claims can also call the claims call center at 1-800-958-5380, which is answered 24 hours a day. Call center operators collect property owners' information and then forward it to claims adjustors. The claims adjustors will contact the property owners to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Operators also will be able to direct callers to local, state and federal disaster response agencies for additional assistance.
