Pentair Names Todd R. Gleason Vice President of Investor Relations

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Pentair, Inc. (NYSE:PNR) today announced that Todd R. Gleason has been named Vice President of Investor Relations. Mr. Gleason will work with Pentair's senior management team to further the company's investor relations strategy, and will serve as Pentair's liaison with the financial analyst and investment communities. Mr. Gleason will report to John Stauch, Pentair's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

"Todd brings a wealth of finance, strategy, and investor relations experience to Pentair," said Stauch. "We look forward to Todd's leadership in helping Pentair communicate its results and strategic direction with our shareowners and in strengthening our investor relations program."

Mr. Gleason has served as director of investor relations for American Standard since 2005. Earlier, he worked at Honeywell International (formerly AlliedSignal) in a variety of progressively responsible finance positions including, most recently, director of finance for Honeywell Process Solutions - Americas. Prior to joining AlliedSignal, he served as a management consultant at Deloitte and Touche Consulting Group and as a business manager for QPS Services. Mr. Gleason earned a Masters of Science degree in management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in international affairs and history from Wesleyan University.
