PoliteMail First to Add Word of Mouth Campaign, in-Depth Tracking Features to World's Most Popular Email Application
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Salestream Software, developer of email-based software tools that enhance marketing and boost sales, today announced the release of PoliteMail 2.0, a software add-in for Microsoft Outlook that adds broadcast and 1to1 marketing capabilities with response tracking to Outlook. PoliteMail 2.0, the first software product to add email marketing capabilities to Microsoft Outlook, enables users across various industries to manage lists and track responses without leaving the world's most popular email application.
With PoliteMail, users can create, send and track professionally branded, personalized email broadcasts to customers, prospects, industry partners or co-workers, all from within their familiar Outlook application and through their own authentic mail server. Users can select from hundreds of pre-made templates or build their own. PoliteMail adds valuable features to Outlook, including:
* Shared contact and mailing list management, with or without Microsoft Exchange Server
* Email response tracking, so users can see who is opening messages and attachments, clicking links, visiting websites and spreading messages by word of mouth forwarding
* Advanced email analytics to measure and improve marketing results, with automatic segmentation based on recipient behavior
* Automatic CAN-SPAM compliance with Opt-in/Opt-out and undeliverable management
* Smart Attachments[TM] that allow users to include trackable file attachments in email marketing messages and campaigns
"Email is a vital sales and marketing tool for broadcasting campaigns, 1to1 follow-up and initiating word-of mouth marketing," said Michael DesRochers, CEO of Salestream Software. "Unlike online email marketing, PoliteMail is the first and only tool to allow users to create and send authentic 1to1 messages right from Outlook. More importantly, PoliteMail's response tracking shows you what happens to the messages you send, what campaigns are most effective and which recipients are spreading the word, providing the insight needed to better target your communications without leaving your Outlook Inbox."
