IDS Scheer Positioned in Leaders Quadrant for Business Process Analysis
Business Wire, June 13, 2007
BERLIN -- IDS Scheer, the leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), today announced at ARIS ProcessWorld 2007 Europe that it has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant of the Gartner Inc. Business Process Analysis Tools Market Magic Quadrant. Published on June 8, 2007 by Michael Blechar, the research note, Magic Quadrant for Business Process Analysis Tools Market, 2H07-1H08, analyzes 13 business process analysis (BPA) vendors and their respective offerings. In the report, Gartner states that BPA tools are a key component of business process improvement and business process management initiatives, and "expanding demand for business process modeling tools will result in at least a 10 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in market revenue through 2010."
The Gartner report further states that leaders "are high-viability vendors with proven track records in BPA tools with high degrees of functionality or market penetration, as well as vision and business investment. They are also well-positioned for the future because of completeness of vision -- due to financial commitment and market share, technological differentiation or both. Leaders do not necessarily offer the best products for every customer project or role. However, they provide solutions that offer relatively lower risk."
"We believe our positioning in the Quadrant underlines the unmatched quality of our ARIS software and solutions. IDS Scheer works closely with our customers to deliver market-leading products and services, ultimately ensuring their business success," said Dr. Wolfram Jost, Member of the Executive Board and responsible for IDS Scheer's Product Strategy and Development.
"We are pleased to be positioned in the Leaders Quadrant of Gartner's Business Process Analysis Tools Magic Quadrant," said Dr. Mathias Kirchmer, Chief Innovation & Marketing Officer at IDS Scheer. "We believe that IDS Scheer continually sets the bar for innovation within the BPM space through our ARIS Platform and complementary consulting offerings. We feel this evaluation further solidifies our market and innovation role as THE thought leader in business process excellence. IDS Scheer clients can feel confident that their business process knowledge assets are well protected."
