William Blair & Company Initiates Coverage of IHS Inc. With Outperform Rating
Business Wire, June 13, 2007
CHICAGO -- William Blair & Company initiated research coverage of IHS Inc. (NYSE: IHS) ($41.42) with an Outperform rating and company profile of Core Growth. IHS is a leading global provider of critical technical information, decision-support tools, and related services to customers in the energy, defense, aerospace, construction, electronics, and automotive industries.
Analyst John Neff estimated that the company would generate adjusted EPS (excludes stock-based compensation, one-time expenses, and pension income) of $1.43 in fiscal 2007 and $1.70 in fiscal 2008.
"We believe that IHS has the makings of an outstanding long-term growth holding," Neff said. "We believe EPS growth in the 15% to 18% range is sustainable over the next three to five years based on the company's solid organic growth, continued margin expansion, and acquisition opportunities."
