ePlus Technology Achieves Cisco Partner Awards for Outstanding Performance
Business Wire, June 15, 2007
Coast-to-Coast Distinction Given for Enterprise Solutions and Advanced Security
HERNDON, Va. -- ePlus inc. (Nasdaq NGM: PLUS), today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ePlus Technology, Inc., has achieved two Cisco partner awards: Outstanding Performance Enterprise in the West and Outstanding Performance Advanced Security in the East. Presented at the Cisco Partner Summit in April 2007, the two awards recognize ePlus' continued success and proven capabilities as an end-to-end Cisco solutions provider and Cisco Gold Certified Advanced Technology Provider.
ePlus received the Outstanding Performance award for Enterprise Solutions in the West for its account partnership approach, pre-and post-sales quality of work, and high customer satisfaction ratings. Adopting a strategy of providing best of breed design and implementation engineering resources combined with strong account development and responsive account management, ePlus has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to provide "front to back" solutions for its partners and clients. This enhances both ePlus' and Cisco's market penetration while providing superior value to their joint clients.
"The level of synergy between ePlus and Cisco's Enterprise team is a source of market energy and traction," said Andy Shulman, regional vice president - West at ePlus. "We have worked hard to create a true 'three-legged' partnership concept between Cisco, ePlus, and our shared clients. We are pleased to see this recognition of our accomplishments and are excited at the prospects for our relationship with Cisco's Enterprise teams as we move forward in the market."
ePlus earned the Outstanding Performance award for Advanced Security in the East for several distinct areas of proficiency. ePlus has been proactive in creating informational forums for IT management--helping customers better understand their own security challenges, differentiate Cisco's security solutions, and ultimately implement solutions tailored to their needs. In addition, the award is attributed to ePlus' pre- and post-sales support around Cisco security products. As a Cisco IT Lifecycle Services Delivery Partner, ePlus provides professional services in such key areas as Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA), Monitoring, Analysis and Response System (MARS), and Intrusion Prevention Solution (IPS).
Through continuous investments in technical and engineering resources, ePlus has the expertise to help its customers assess their needs, design and select optimal solutions, and implement and manage those solutions using industry best practices. With multiple certifications to sell VPN security, routing and switching, wireless and secure LANs, and network management solutions and with Advanced Security Specialization and Cisco ATP partner status for both Rich Media Communications and Network Hosted Storage, ePlus has years of experience selling and supporting bundled secure Cisco solutions.
"We're proud of achieving two awards from Cisco that recognize our outstanding partner performance from coast to coast of the United States," said Mark Marron, senior vice president of ePlus. "Both awards are a strong testament to ePlus' continuous commitment to provide our customers with the best end-to-end Cisco solutions--from design to implementation and support. We value our long-term partnership with Cisco, our growing number of certifications and specializations, and our ability to help customers take full advantage of Cisco's wide offering."
