Innovative Solutions & Support, Inc. Awarded Contract from American Airlines for 200 Flat Panel Display System Shipsets

Flat Panel Display System to be Retrofitted in Major International Operator's Fleet of Boeing 757 & 767 Aircraft
EXTON, Pa. -- Innovative Solutions & Support, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISSC) announced today that American Airlines has awarded the Company a contract to supply IS&S Cockpit/IP[TM] Flat Panel Display Systems for its fleet of nearly 200 Boeing 757/767 aircraft. Deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter of this calendar year.
For American Airlines, IS&S will replace 22 individual cockpit instruments with four, full color flat panel displays. The Company's Flat Panel Display System significantly improves display reliability while offering a versatile platform that can be easily modified to improve overall functionality, or to meet future regulatory requirements.

Since October 1, 2006, the beginning of the Company's current fiscal year, Innovative Solutions & Support, Inc. has received $75 million in new Flat Panel Display System orders on a variety of aircraft including Citation business jets, Pilatus PC-12's, Eclipse Aviation's Eclipse 500 very light jet, B-757/767s and others.
