Bank Uses Goldleaf's Imaging Suite to Exchange Images with Federal Reserve Bank
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:GFSI), a provider of integrated technology-based solutions designed to improve the performance of financial institutions, today announced that Lipan, Texas-based First National Bank of Lipan has selected its Net.check suite of imaging solutions.
The bank, which is currently using Goldleaf's full imaging suite, will take advantage of the Net.check platform to electronically deposit and receive imaged cash letters from the Federal Reserve Bank. According to executive management, the bank chose Goldleaf's solution for its ease of use as well as the potential cost savings.
"Prior to implementing Goldleaf's solution, we were still working with paper checks," said Amber Branson, vice president of First National Bank of Lipan. "In looking to streamline our operational efficiency and compete more effectively, we began looking for an automated solution that would enable the bank to send and receive cashletters from the Federal Reserve Bank. Using Goldleaf, the bank no longer has to spend time sorting physical checks and paper files, saving both time and money. In addition, we are able to focus more attention on better serving the customer, which is our main priority."
"First National Bank of Lipan has always been committed to providing the highest level of customer service," said Sean Pennock, SVP and general manager at Goldleaf. "The Net.check suite provided the opportunity for the bank to continue its focus on the customer, while simultaneously leveraging technology to save time and money by eliminating courier and paper shipping fees. Goldleaf's solution has positioned the bank to take advantage of Check 21 legislation to decrease costs, expand service offerings and better compete with larger institutions."
