Licensing Agreement Allows Shuffle Master's Popular Table Games to Appear on GameLogic's Innovative Player Loyalty and Visit Acquisition Platforms
WALTHAM, Mass. -- GameLogic Inc. today announced that Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select Market: SHFL) has signed a non-exclusive content licensing agreement that allows GameLogic to offer Shuffle Master's proprietary table game content on its Internet-based player loyalty system PlayAway currently being implemented with U.S. based casinos.
The PlayAway system is a casino-offered player loyalty system built on the tremendous popularity of Internet games. With PlayAway, U.S. regulated casinos can offer their players a variety of regulatory compliant Internet games, given that the game purchase, outcome determination and redemption all happen at the casino and does not involve any Internet or online gaming, wagering or "for money" bets.
"As industry leaders in creating and distributing innovative, exciting and fun table game content, Shuffle Master's content is a great addition to our player loyalty and visit acquisition platforms," said GameLogic President John E. Taylor, Jr. "With this relationship we are demonstrating our commitment to building a game portfolio that both entertains current casino patrons and attracts new consumers for our casino clients."
"We are pleased to offer GameLogic the ability to offer our proprietary content on their PlayAway system and are confident that it will provide casinos with the ability to provide an entertaining player experience," said Paul C. Meyer, Shuffle Master President and Chief Operating Officer.
