Wind River Honored as Leader on the SD Times 100 List for Fifth Consecutive Year

Wind River Named Winner in the "Embedded" Category
ALAMEDA, Calif. -- For the fifth year in a row, Wind River Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:WIND), the global leader in Device Software Optimization (DSO), has been named a winner of the SD Times 100, which recognizes the leaders and innovators of the software development industry. The 2007 list, which posted on June 1, notes, "Already the leader in embedded development, Wind River is getting the open standards religion in a big way."
This past year, Wind River extended DSO into the verification and validation phase of the development life cycle with the availability of Wind River Lab Diagnostics. Wind River also upgraded Wind River[R] Workbench, On-Chip Debugging Edition, offering multicore device developers a more fully-supported, standards-based development environment.
