Business Wire, June 5, 2007
Recognized for successfully penetrating international markets
BETHPAGE, N.Y. -- KEMP Technologies, a leading provider of affordable server load balancing and SSL acceleration solutions, today announced it was selected the winner of the U.S. Commerce Department's Export Achievement Award. KEMP was chosen for successfully penetrating international markets for distribution of its line of load balancers.
The award recognizes U.S. businesses that have benefited from the export services of the U.S. Commercial Service, a U.S. Commerce Department agency that helps businesses sell their products and services globally. KEMP received this award because of its active role in expanding its products to not only U.S. markets, but across the globe.
"KEMP was selected for its recent accomplishments in the global marketplace," said Shakir Farsakh, director of Long Island U.S. Export Assistance Center. "KEMP has made significant advances in expanding its worldwide customer base with its line of innovative products, and continues to benefit from U.S. Commercial Service assistance in making new international sales."
"We are honored to be acknowledged for successfully reaching out to new international markets," said Kevin Mahon CEO of KEMP. "We continue to sell in the U.S., but recognize the huge potential for us abroad as well. We look forward to continuing our growth in new and emerging markets."
KEMP provides a feature-rich product line of load balancers to the small and medium business (SMB) market at an affordable price. The company strives to make products that operate with high functionality but can be purchased by an SMB customer with little-to-no additional IT support allocated in its budget.
The award will be presented to KEMP Technologies at the "Finance and Expand Your Export Business" seminar at the Long Island Association in Melville on June 13th, 2007 by Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce Colleen Litkenhaus.
