Metabolix, Inc. to Conduct a Webcast of Its Fourth Quarter 2006 Financial Results

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Metabolix, Inc. (NASDAQ: MBLX), announced today that it will be releasing its fourth quarter 2006 financial results after the market close on Wednesday, March 7, 2007. The full text of the release will also be available on the Company's website at www.metabolix.com. James Barber, the Company's CEO will host a conference call on the same day at 4:30 p.m. (Eastern).
