Courier Names Rajeev Balakrishna as Vice President and General Counsel

NORTH CHELMSFORD, Mass. -- Courier Corporation (Nasdaq: CRRC) today announced the appointment of Rajeev Balakrishna as Vice President and General Counsel. In this newly created position, Mr. Balakrishna will be responsible for all legal affairs relating to Courier's contracting, compliance, corporate governance, intellectual property protection and company acquisitions.
Balakrishna is a corporate, securities and transactional attorney with over ten years of experience. For the past two years, he was an associate at Proskauer Rose LLP in Boston, prior to which he was a Counsel at John Hancock Financial Services, Inc. for approximately 2 years. Balakrishna spent the first seven years of his career at Goodwin Procter LLP where, among other things, he represented Courier in a wide variety of matters. He holds a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center, a Masters of Science in Foreign Service from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University in Economics and International Relations.
