Third-Party Integration, VoIP Readiness, and Optimization Services Boost NetQoS' Ability to Help Organizations Improve Network Monitoring and Performance
AUSTIN, Texas -- To further help organizations meet today's network performance management challenges, NetQoS([R]) Inc. has added three new offerings to its 2007 Professional Services program. The new offerings, available now, include the NetQoS Performance Center Integration Service, the NetQoS VoIP Readiness Assessment, and the NetQoS Optimization and Interpretation Service.
NetQoS Performance Center Integration Service: The latest release of the NetQoS Performance Center product suite, launched in January, gives customers the ability to display any inbound third-party application or custom data source in the NetQoS Performance Center portal views. This capability simplifies the collection and analysis of network performance management data in one place for quicker problem isolation and to plan for change. With the NetQoS Performance Center Integration Service, NetQoS consultants will:
* Analyze the feasibility of the requested integration
* Develop customized integration with third-party products, as required
* Create views that effectively reflect the imported data set contribution
* Assist with the integration of these views with other data sets to provide comparative analysis
* Train staff about the new data sets, views, and required processes
NetQoS VoIP Readiness Assessment: As organizations deploy VoIP, the need to determine network readiness to support VoIP's unique network requirements is critical. The NetQoS VoIP Readiness Assessment will provide a detailed analysis of each organization's network infrastructure and identify problem areas in the network prior to deployment. To help customers become ready for VoIP, NetQoS consultants will:
* Identify problem spots in the network prior to VoIP deployment
* Baseline the performance of business-critical applications
* Determine bandwidth capacity and changes over time
* Identify all applications consuming the bandwidth, who is using them and when
* Implement QoS policies to prioritize business-critical applications, and rate-limit or eliminate non-business critical applications
NetQoS Optimization and Interpretation Service: This service helps IT teams optimize toolset configuration and focus NetQoS products on key enterprise applications and concerns, transferring best practice expertise and knowledge in performance reporting and analysis to the customer. Based on each customer's unique network environment, NetQoS consultants will:
* Optimize toolset configuration to focus on specific key application architecture
* Assist in documenting and interpreting device data sets for toolset and application architectures
* Identify reporting requirements for engineering and management
* Assist in formal data analysis and reporting
"NetQoS has a fully staffed professional services organization with consultants who are recognized both nationally and internationally for their network performance management experience and knowledge," said Robert Machnacki, vice president of services for NetQoS. "As a result, the NetQoS professional services organization had a banner year in 2006, increasing revenues 175 percent over 2005. All types of organizations use our professional services, from financial to high tech to the U.S. military, where we recently completed a consulting and product-based engagement in theater. Our newest service offerings will further our ability to help customers improve application delivery."
In addition to its standard product-based and vendor-neutral service offerings, NetQoS Professional Services offers customized onsite training programs as well as NetAnalyst([R]) training and certification courses. Offered via NetPerformance.com, the 2007 NetAnalyst program has been updated to cover the latest network performance technologies and troubleshooting methodologies, including VoIP and WAN optimization, for both LAN and WAN environments. Both levels of the vendor-neutral course now include hands-on, scenario-based network troubleshooting labs.
In addition to regular classes held in Austin, Texas, the 2007 NetAnalyst training schedule includes:
April 23-25, 2007: Washington, D.C.
June 4-6, 2007: Chicago, Ill.
