GenVec to Present at BioCentury and Thomson Financial's Future Leaders in the Biotech Industry Conference

GAITHERSBURG, M.D. -- GenVec, Inc. (Nasdaq:GNVC) today announced that Paul H. Fischer, Ph.D., President and CEO, will present a corporate overview and highlight recent developments at the 2007 Future Leaders in the Biotech Industry Conference hosted by BioCentury and Thomson Financial. Dr. Fischer's presentation will take place on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. ET, at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City.
