eGistics Introduces End-to-End Lending Process Management Solution During MBA's National Technology in Mortgage Banking Conference

Business Wire, March 26, 2007

Hosted Solution Streamlines the Lending Process, From Application Induction to Secondary Market Resale

TAMPA, Fla. -- eGistics, Inc., today launched a hosted solution that image-enables the lending process from end-to-end. The solution streamlines the lending process from loan application to resale by using on-demand images, routing and workflow to significantly reduce the friction, time and cost of paper constrained processes.

"Today's launch marks a significant milestone for the lending industry as we help drive the transformation from paper to electronic processing, just as we have done in the payments arena," said eGistics Chairman and CEO Bob Lund. "By combining our hosted, component-based architecture with advanced workflow and process automation technologies, we're changing the way companies manage the lending process, end-to-end."

Built on a hosted, archive-driven platform, eGistic's image-based solution enables work to be electronically distributed across an unlimited geographical area, and provides for concurrent document processing and access, with no investments in infrastructure or vendor-specific technology. Additionally, the eGistics infrastructure incorporates world-class security, unlimited storage capacity and very attractive per-image pricing.

The solution's user-defined workflow tools are configurable to meet any lending process. These tools include workforce performance monitoring, automated load balancing between users and user groups, skill-based routing, and managerial views into the entire lending process. The solution also provides automated notifications and alerts. Users of eGistics' built-in lending process workflow can avoid the significant fees associated with the licensing of similar workflow capabilities in other lending applications.

This flexible framework also allows users to pre-establish guidelines by which loans can be automatically packaged to meet the requirements of investors. Ad-hoc packaging allows for packages to be assembled on an individual basis. In either case, investors are provided secure online access to loan images and related information.

eGistics' lending solution was built to complement existing loan origination systems (LOS). The solution is platform-independent and open database design assures easy integration with any LOS. It also leverages the benefits of any LOS, without duplicating functionality, and eliminates the need for data synchronization by preventing duplicate keying. If the user's LOS should change, the eGistics solution is readily adaptable and minimizes the time and expense of conversion.

The platform also supports the lending industry's move toward first-touch/first-scan methodology (paper-free processing), with built-in support for multiple input channels, including integration with e-mail, fax server and third-party information providers.

"As part of eGistics' growth strategy, we're delivering workflow-driven hosted solutions that enable collaboration and access to information across departments and organizations, drive process efficiency to maximize resources, and support regulatory compliance and business rules," said eGistics Executive Vice President Gary Provo. "The eGistics lending solution accomplishes these goals at a fraction of the cost of traditional lending systems."

eGistics is showcasing its new lending solution, March 25-28, during MBA's National Technology in Mortgage Banking Conference & Expo 2007 at the Tampa Convention Center (Booth # 422). The MBA conference is designed for anyone interested in learning about the latest technology and security products and services for the real estate finance industry.

The eGistics lending management solution is currently in live production.
