Nir Grossman Named Senior Director of Investor Relations for Dynegy Inc

HOUSTON -- Dynegy Inc. (NYSE:DYN) today announced that Nir Grossman has been named Senior Director, Investor Relations. In his new role, Grossman, 35, will serve as a liaison between the company's management, the investing public and the financial community. Grossman reports directly to Norelle Lundy, Vice President, Investor and Public Relations.
Grossman previously held the position of Senior Director and Assistant Controller in Dynegy's accounting group. Prior to joining Dynegy in 2004, Grossman was employed in CenterPoint Energy's financial reporting and planning areas. He holds a bachelor's of business administration in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
In another change, Hillarie Forister, 27, who previously served as Senior Analyst, Investor Relations, has been promoted to Lead Analyst within the company's planning and forecasting area. Forister, who joined the company in 2001, holds a bachelor's of business administration in accounting and a master's of science in finance from Texas A&M University.
Dynegy Inc. produces and sells electric energy, capacity and ancillary services in key U.S. markets. The company's current power generation portfolio consists of approximately 12,000 megawatts of baseload, intermediate and peaking power plants fueled by a mix of coal, fuel oil and natural gas. DYNC
