Innovative Live Broadcast Application Will Use Multiple Camera Angles to Enhance Web Viewer Experience
WALTHAM, Mass. -- Adobe Systems has selected PermissionTV's powerful video publishing system as the platform for what it calls "the biggest product launch in Adobe's 25 year history and a milestone for the creative industry" - the introduction of the Adobe[R] Creative Suite[R] 3 product line, a revolutionary offering of tightly integrated, industry-leading design and development tools for virtually every creative workflow. The live broadcast will start today (March 27) at 3:30 p.m. EST from New York and utilize cutting edge Internet video technology from PermissionTV, including multiple camera angles that are viewer-selectable. Afterward, the recorded event and additional product video segments will continue to be available in an on-demand viewing experience also built by PermissionTV.
PermissionTV's Flash based publishing application is quickly becoming one of the leading platforms for Internet television publishing, including such sites as Fox's MyNetworkTV, BobVila.com and Toyota's www.scion.com/broadband.
> PermissionTV offers customers like Adobe complete design freedom and a powerful array of video experiences, including embedded, syndicated and desktop video environments. For the Adobe CS3 Launch event, the PermissionTV platform will switch seamlessly between live and on-demand video. The live streaming is being done in cooperation with Akamai, marrying their powerful delivery network to the PermissionTV video platform."PermissionTV is a superior platform for enabling companies to build engaging online and desktop video experiences," says Tony MacDonell of noted Flash development company Teknision. "Interactive designers and developers are free to create any experience they can envision, while the PermissionTV platform handles all of the heavy lifting that comes with deploying video."
