IRVING, Texas -- SAVR Communications, Inc. introduces the "SAVR Scan 900" - a new handheld RFID reader that is both practical and affordable. With units available at $1995, the full-featured and Gen2 compliant SAVR Scan 900 offers more value than any other RFID handheld on the market.
The SAVR Scan 900 features an RF module by Sirit which delivers a full (1) watt of power and exceptional performance. A PDA with a touch screen color display gives the user a familiar and functional interface. Data can easily be exchanged with a server utilizing the built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. The scanner comes loaded with an RFID software application to read tags right out of the box. Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system provides a standard platform for custom applications based on the .NET API which is available free of charge.
